November 11th, 2022 – Q&A: How can I be & sound more confident when delivering difficult news?

I chose this month’s question because many people, the majority being women, struggle with boundaries, assertiveness and confrontation, which can lead to being too nice and people-pleasing. I’m not shy to admit that I’m a recovering people pleaser myself and one of the best tools that I used to get over this, and continue to use, is what’s often referred to as the ‘sh*t sandwich technique’!!  Read the full post here

November 18th, 2022 – How poor posture impacts your stress levels and more

I think it’s especially important to shed light on this topic because so many people are now working from home, but how many have a good desk setup? How many people are using a proper ergonomic chair at their desks? And how many are spending time working from a laptop while sitting on the sofa or in bed? The point is, there’s more risk of people sitting in a slouched/slumped position while WFH, which can impact far more than just our bodily alignment: Read it here

A good friend of mine introduced me to me a brilliant cookbook when I went to her place for dinner last year. She cooked a delicious meal that can best be described as lots of flavorsome ingredients, thoughtfully combined and cooked in a large roasting tin.

The cookbook is called: The Roasting Tin, Simple One Dish Dinners, by Rukmini Iyer.

Rukmini is a writer, food stylist and former lawyer, whose goal is to create tasty and easy recipes with minimum fuss and maximum flavour … I can personally vouch that her recipes deliver on those promises!

Her million-copy-selling cookbook series now includes The Roasting TinThe Green Roasting TinThe Quick Roasting TinThe Roasting Tin Around the WorldThe Green Barbecue, and The Sweet Roasting Tin.

If you’re short on time and looking to mix up your repertoire of evening meals, I highly recommend you try one of Rukmini’s roasting tin cookbooks.
